The workshop will be held from 19 to 21 May 2008.
The workshop will start on Monday, early afternoon, and it will be preceeded on Monday morning by two tutorials.
The workshop will be closed on Wednesday, late morning, and will be followed by social activities.


Exact date and time schedules will be available at a later time.

Location

The workshop will be held in Varenna, on the Como Lake (46°0'35.88" N, 9°17'1.28"E).

The workshop will be hosted by Villa Monastero Conference center. See the Italian web site and the English one. Varenna is a small town on the east side of lake Como, on the railroad from Milano to Sondrio.
It can be reached by train from Milan (see info below).

Varenna is on the right shore of Lake como (Please see map).

By plane
Nearest airports are Milan Malpensa (MXP), Milan Linate (LIN) and Milan Bergamo Orio al Serio (BGY).

From these airports it is easiest to take a bus link into Milano Centrale train station and take a train to Varenna from there.

By rail
Varenna is on the Milano - Sondrio line. The station of Varenna/Esino is around one hour from Milan. There are trains roughly every 2 hours.

From Milan take the strada statale ss36 to Lecco, then go on to Varenna.

By ferry
